Best advice for high school students looking to attend college: Try to enjoy the college search process, even if it feels overwhelming at times. Take the time to really look into the programs, the location, and what life is like on campus. The more you learn, the easier it’ll be to picture yourself there!
My favorite UO fun fact: My favorite fun fact about the UO is that campus is home to more than 100,000 zebrafish within 30,000 genetic strains. The Allan Price Science Commons and Research Library even has a screen on the west side of the building that features a consolidated zebrafish genetic map.
Favorite Eugene hangout: My favorite place to hang out in Eugene would be downtown Eugene. I love to pick up fresh produce and baked goods from the Lane County Farmers Market. There is also a super cool movie theater called Metro Cinemas that has one of the best concessions ever serving mac and cheese, frozen treats, and house made food options like quesadillas!
Special skills, talents, interests, or hobbies: I love to travel and explore new places with my friends and family. I hope to visit Japan soon so I can experience the amazing food scene and grow my collection of blind boxes! I’m also learning how to cook and bake, which has quickly become one of my favorite hobbies.
If you didn't work in UO Admissions: If I didn’t work in Admissions, I would either be working in social media marketing or influencer marketing.
