Register for Housing by Feb 28
Register by the Feb 28 priority deadline to be in the first group of students to make room selections.
Access the My Housing portal 4 days after your admission notification. You will need your UO ID, which begins with 95 and was sent via email.

Submit your FAFSA by Mar 1
The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is your first step to maximizing your eligibility for federal loans, grants, and scholarships to support your college needs.
The UO's FAFSA school code is 003223.
Make it Official by May 1
Submit your Intent to Register (ITR) and $200 advance tuition deposit to officially commit to the UO.
Confirm your decision (submit your ITR) by 11:59 pm on May 1. if you need information for spring, summer or winter terms
Scholarships
In addition to submitting your FAFSA, apply for all UO and other for which you may qualify. A simple web search can open the door to countless opportunities.
Important: When registering for a campus visit, please wait to make travel arrangements until you have received your confirmation email. These events often fill to capacity and once that occurs, we are unable to change your registration to accommodate previously made travel plans. For instance, we cannot add you to a full event even if you’ve made flight reservations before registering.
Attend a Duck Admissions Event Near You
The UO admissions team is on the road! From February 22 to April 12, the UO will be visiting nearly 40 cities and could be in an area near you.
If you can’t come to campus, these events are a great opportunity to connect with UO closer to home and learn about Duck life and academics. You’ll also celebrate your admission and connect with fellow incoming Ducks to begin building community before you ever set foot on campus.

Her research explores Parkinson’s brain activity, while community health clinics are shaping her service focus. She now aspires to become a pediatric physician serving children and families.

Advice for first-years: Slow down. Take your headphones out, put your phone away, and look around. Enjoy the food you eat. Spend time with people that expand your mind. Choose your words. If you find yourself going through the motions, take a step back. Find activities that relax your mind and do them regularly. Be curious and patient.

Minor: Science Communication
Eden McCall, '24, turns science into compelling stories. A Hearst Award winner for her environmental project Nature Next Door, Eden mastered video, data visualization, and immersive storytelling at UO—launching a career with OPB and even the White House, while still a student journalist.
